Bis release a ‘new’ album, ‘Music for Animations’, via Last Night From Glasgow.

The 16 tracks – available on vinyl, CD and digitally – were originally recorded in 2004 for the TV show BB3B.

The children’s cartoon series, which only ran for one season, was called a collection of their “most pop punk tunes ever” by the group themselves.

The Glasgow trio – Manda Rin, Sci-Fi Steven and John Disco – previously released ‘Slight Disconnects’ via Last Night From Glasgow in 2018, their fourth long player as Bis – and there are also plans to put out LPs such as ‘Return To Central’, which will be re-pressed in 2021.

Bis have previously contributed a song to 2002 video game, ‘Jet Set Radio Future’ as well as appearing alongside the likes of Devo, Frank Black, Cornelius and Apples in Stereo when composing the theme music for Hanna-Barbera toon The Powderpuff Girls.
