Shetland rock/pop/jazz/reggae/folk/80s quintet synth outfit Big Time Quell release a new single, ‘Midnight Jaguar’.
The track, available currently on Spotify, follows up their debut five-track EP ‘Greatest Hits’, which was released in 2016.
That included the Alan Partridge-inspired football anthem ‘Back of the Net’, which was featured in national magazine FourFourTwo.
The quintet – Jamie Hatch, Thomas Jones, Chris Cope, Robert Balfour and Norman Willmore – morphed from an acoustic duo to a full band in 2015, drawing members from fellow Shetland act Trookers, as well as First Foot Soldiers and Giant.
Next up is a 20-minute concept rock opera EP ‘Hardman Ponytail’, in 2019.
