Biffy Clyro release their eighth studio album, ‘A Celebration of Endings’, on the 14th Floor label.

Produced by Rich Costey, it’s the Ayrshire act’s second long-player in just over a year; soundtrack album ‘Balance, Not Symmetry’ having come out last May.

Including singles ‘Instant History’ and ‘Weird Leisure’, the 11-track effort – which started with the working title ‘Opus 8’ – had its launch delayed from May 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The band – frontman Simon Neil and brothers James and Ben Johnston – celebrated the record’s release with a live performance filmed at an empty Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow and streamed around the world, last Saturday.

The band also announced that they will headline Download Festival next summer, closing the main stage on Saturday 5th June 2021 with Kiss and System of a Down also topping the weekend’s bill.

The new album is available to stream or download now.
