Barbe Rousse release a new EP, ‘Factory Settlings’.

Available to stream or download, it follows the project’s debut album ‘Misc. Muses’, which appeared on the Double A-Side label in 2017.

The Leith-based act is the brainchild of Edinburgh-based multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/producer Alastair Kelly, who is accompanied live by David Burns on drums, bassist Ben Watt, and Thian Wehmeyer on keyboards.

As well as the title track and lead single, there are five tracks on the release: ‘Foolin’ Myself Again’, ‘Fall Guy’, ‘Apples and Oranges’, and ‘All Of My Time’ – the latter co-written by Jordan Baron Crow.

That aside, all tracks are written, performed, mixed and mastered by Kelly, albeit with Burns and Wehmeyer, as well as backing vocals from Michael Williamson.
