You can relax, as though it’s a busy week for quality gigs, things don’t really get moving until Wednesday, when Be Charlotte plays Mad Hatters in Inverness. Same night, same city, Scanner aka Robin Rimbaud, will be trawling the airwaves at the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness.

He’s apparently there on Thursday as well. And also in town, Paws, at Tooth And Claw.
In Glasgow, former Green On Red man Chuck Prophet plays Glasgow’s O2 ABC, while countrymates (though not genremates) Anthrax are at the Barras.

On Thursday 16th, Band of Horses are at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, while The Nightingales play Leith Depot with The Blue Orchids in tow.
Be Charlotte continues her Scottish tour – she’s at PJ Molloy’s in Dunfermline on Thursday.
And in Paisley – featuring members of Degrassi – Warrior Soul.

On Friday, Icelandic (now) techno duo Fufanu play Nice’n’Sleazy’s, Be Charlotte‘s at the Attic, and Dumb Instrument – still on the go! – are at The Rum Shack.
Another legend, rapper/producerKRS-One, is at the Liquid Room in Edinburgh
Neon Waltz are at Dundee’s Bar 15 (aye, another new venue for you to try and locate).

And they’re also at Irvine Harbour Arts Centre on Saturday.
Jamie and Shoony are at The Green Room in Perth.
Inverness has epic rock straight from Glasgow – Thula Borah are at Hootenany.
Saturday also sees former Smash Hits cover star Julian Cope at La Belle Angele in Edinburgh.

Sunday 19th sees Be Charlotte play Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree.
In Edinburgh, bekilted claymore-weilder dance hero Jesse Rae is at Edinburgh’s Electric Circus.
In Glasgow, Julian Cope plays Oran Mor, while The View are at King Tut’s.
