Avaera release a new single, ‘Grow Up’.
The track, available to stream or download, was produced by Bruce Rintoul and mastered by John Davis, follows up recent single ‘Your Colours‘.
Having previously been involved in various bands and projects in their hometown of Perth, the band recently became part of the Mother Artist Management company who manage IDLES and Heavy Lungs.
The trio – lead singer and guitarist Blair Davie, bassist Sam Flood, and drummer Kyle Fummey, all in their early twenties, said of the new release: “‘Grow Up’ is a song for friends; people you have loved for as long as you can remember, new humans who come into your life, changing it into something more wonderful and companions that you cared for but who aren’t there anymore.
“It’s about evolving and adapting into a world that you’re not quite sure of, one that’s filled with scary ideas and inevitable mistakes. We look to those we love in these times to guide us, keep us safe and to help us see the beauty of it all.”
