Angus Munro releases a new single, ‘Equaliza’, on Counselor Records.

It’s the third track to be taken from his recent debut EP ‘Mirror Man’ which came out earlier this year.

The track is about antidepressants the singer was prescribed in the past. Of the song, he says: “Equaliza, to me is one of my most personal songs and despite the difficult time-period in which it was written, it remains a time-capsule of the man I once was, and a reminder of how far I’ve come.”.

Born in Sidcup to an Italian father and Scottish mother, the Edinburgh-based singer plays piano and Rhodes on the track, and is abetted by Alan Langdon on bass and keyboards, guitarist Fraser Jackson, and percussionist Ewan Laing, all of whom add backing vocals along with Cariss Crosbie and Rachel Lightbody.

The eight tracks were produced & mixed in Glasgow, by Tony Doogan, at Mogwai’s Castle of Doom Studio.

Next show for Munro is on Friday 15th November at the Tooth & Claw in Inverness.
