Angus Munro releases an EP, ‘Mirror Man’ as a download.
Following up the London-born piano singer-songwriter’s EP, ‘Shooting First’, it includes recent single ‘Bleed It Out’.
The five tunes were recorded & mixed by Tony Doogan at Mogwai’s Castle of Doom studio in Glasgow.
All the tunes are written by Munro who plays piano and alto sax on the EP, while he is aided and abetted by Alan Langdon on bass, guitarist Fraser Jackson -, percussion courtesy of Ewan Laing and Tom Smith on trombone / flugel horn, as well as a couple more backing vocalists in the shape of Cariss Crosbie and Rachel Lightbody.
The lead track is described as a “love letter to hardcore punk bands like Black Flag and the fans that go crazy at their shows.”
The EP is available on iTunes and Spotify as well as at bandcamp with an additional free track.
