Andrew Howie releases a new single, ‘Sycamore’.
Available to download or stream, it’s the first new song from the Stirlingshire-based musician in a couple of years, although an album, ‘Remixed‘, came out a year ago, following several instrumental releases including ‘Solo Guitar Loops 2‘.
Howie also recently re-released ‘The Old Fox of 45‘, a remastered version of his 2004 long-player recorded under his Calamateur alias.
The new track was produced along with Iain Hutchison, who also played Hammond organ and piano on the track.
Also present at the sessions at GloWormRecording in Glasgow were Lucy Cathcart Frödén on vocals, bassist Lewis Gordon, and Phil Wilkinson, who contributed backing vocals, drums, and percussion.
