Amy Duncan releases a new album, ‘The Hidden World’, on Filly Records.

The 10 tracks – including singles ‘Labyrinth’ and ‘Medusa’ which premiered on Folk Radio UK – are available on CD or download via Bandcamp.

The album follows previous long-players 2013’s ‘Cycles of Life’ (released by Linn Records) and ‘Undercurrents’ – a 2016 release on Diverse Vinyl – both albums funded by Creative Scotland.

Aside from percussion and tablas from Guy Nicolson of Moishe’s Bagel, the Edinburgh singer-songwriter performed all instruments on the release including piano, guitar, electric upright bass, synths.

The album was engineered, mixed and mastered by Cameron Malcolm, who produced Paul Buchanan album ‘Mid Air’.

Also being released are three music videos created by animator Tracy Foster, who has used the singer’s photographs as a starting point for the animations.

A June/ July launch tour has unsurprisingly ben postponed with new dates being organised – more information will be added to amyduncan.co.uk
