A M A releases her debut single, entitled ‘Boy’.

Amanda Williams’ self-released track is available to stream or download via all digital platforms.

Originally guitarist in SAY Award-nominated TeenCanteen, AMA has performed across various music festivals including T In The Park, Edinburgh International Festival, Electric Fields and Kendal Calling, and played several live sessions for Marc Riley on BBC6Music.

The new song was produced by Ryan Phillips, who as well as working with Nidus Expire, Tom Lohrmann and Dead Weather has also been Music Director for Tegan Marie and Jena Rose.

Mixing was done by Theodore Pierce, whose previous work includes engineering credits with All That Remains.

AMA’s new solo material comes from five years spent writing and recording, with ‘Boy’ being mixed & produced throughout lockdown between American & Scotland – with vocals were recorded at her childhood home & the rest of music the home studios of Phillips and Pierce.
