Algernon Doll release their third album, ‘Omphalic’, via Struggletown Records.
It follows up previous long-players ‘Camomile’ and ‘Citalo-pop’.

The new album sees Ewan Grant break out from his one man band persona, working with drummer Tom Mitchell who recorded the album at Perth’s Clearwater Studios – but with Grant doing pretty much everything else himself.

Among the 11 tracks are first single ‘Spilt Milk Perfume’ as well as recent free download, ‘Justine’.

Omphalic was mastered by Bob Weston of Shellac – and the band have plans to work with bandmate Steve Albini on new material later this year.
