Alex Maxwell releases his third single, ‘Inaction’.

Available as a Bandcamp download (or to stream on Spotify) the track was recorded with Idlewild’s Rod Jones at his Post Electric Studios.

The singer-songwriter’s first full band release, the track features Lissa Robertson on violin and backing vocals, Morgan McConnell on drums, and Liam Russell on bass, and, the Dumfries-based musician says, is “a shift to a more upbeat approach”.

‘Inaction’ follows up ‘Soul Divine’, which was a Single of the Week for Janice Forsyth on BBC Radio Scotland.
