Aereogramme release a 10th anniversary remastered version of their classic album ‘My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go’.

The digital-only release, originally recorded at 4th St Studios in Glasgow, is again on Chemikal Underground Records.

The band’s fourth long-player took its name from a line from ‘The Exorcist’ – prefacing Craig B and Iain Cook’s post-Aereogramme act The Unwinding Hours, which came from the film of Steven King’s ‘The Shining’.

The album was produced by the band along with Martin Doherty, at the time frontman of Julia Thirteen and a touring member of The Twilight Sad, before his expertise was called upon as he joined Iain Cook in his post-Aereogramme venture, Chvrches.

The ten-track effort, remastered by Iain Cook a matter of days ago at Alucard Studios in Brooklyn, would be the final long-player from the band, before their split in May 2017.

The band – Craig B, Iain Cook, Campbell Mcneil and Martin Scott – were joined by Doherty on piano and keyboards, as well as Graham McGeoch, who played violin on ‘Barriers’ – a track made famous as the soundtrack to a TV advert featuring cyclist Danny MacAskill.
