Adam Stafford releases a new, four track EP, ‘Music For Reface CP’.
Available as a download via Bandcamp, it consists of a quartet of
piano reveries written for and performed on a Yamaha Reface CP hence the EP’s title, taken from the compact version of the classic CP80 electric grand piano
The four brand new compositions – ‘Shed Our Skin By Pipe Ember’, ‘Daylight Slavings’, ‘Wensley Hummings’, and ‘Syntatical Homunculi (Reface)’ – run to 20 minutes in length and were completed and recorded in late November 2020 at Stafford’s home recording setup.
The new material from the Falkirk-based songwriter (and award-winning filmmaker) follows October’s ‘Diamonds of a Horse Famine‘ album – which, following pressing plant delays, are due for delivery any time now.
