A New International release the second single from their album and stage show – the title track ‘Dark Carnival’.
It follows up ‘Necropolitan’ which like the new track is taken from the band’s soundtrack of their collaboration with Glasgow theatre company Vanishing Point.
This is the second single from forthcoming second album by A New International, The Dark Carnival, a 17-song late in the year.
Set in a graveyard, both above and below ground, A New International star live as “the house band in hell”.
The Glasgow six-piece – Biff Smith (vox), Caroline Evens (violin), Craig Laurie (drums), Mark McSwiggan (guitar), Steph McGourty (bass) and Jo Shaw (piano) – will release the 17-track soundtrack long-player later in the year, though the CD version is available at their live theatre run at the following shows:
22 February – 2 March: Citizens Theatre at Tramway, Glasgow – Tickets
6 – 9 March: Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh – Tickets
13 – 16 March: Rep Theatre, Dundee – Tickets
