It’s Monday night, and our advice, as ever, is to get your skates on. Tuff Love are at Summerhall in Edinburgh.

On Tuesday, The Wave Pictures are at the Old Hairdressers in Glasgow, punting excellent new album ‘A Season In Hull’..

And on Wednesday, Leicester’s finest (MJ Hibbett not withstanding) – The Wave Pictures continue their Scottish adventure, playing Sneaky Pete’s.
In Glasgow, it’s Leeds math rockers Campfires (not to be confused by the Glasgow act with the ‘in Winter’ suffix), at Flat 0/1.

Edinburgh on Thursday sees Hector Bizerk at Summerhall. Literally the only gig in town (not literally).

Therapy? play Oran Mor in Glasgow on Friday, while Fat White Family offer an unfortunate choice for those who enjoy their ears being bludgeoned, with a show at the Garage. Neon Waltz are at Behind The Wall in Falkirk, in what is hopefully a new series of shows at the town centre venue. Inverness has Womps – formerly, kinda, Algernon Doll – at the Eagle Bar. In Aberdeen on Friday, former Special Neville Staple is at the Lemon Tree. And Edinburgh has former Fence-r Adem at the Bongo Club.

And on Saturday, Adem’s at the Lemon Tree. In Edinburgh… Marion – really? Maybe our software is messed up and relaying us the indiepop listings from 1999, as listed as support are Degrassi. (Come to that… Bannermans?!?!?)

Back to normality (and 2016) on Sunday night, at Sneaky Pete’s – Womps.
