The annual goNorth festival is to get a rebranding in 2015, under the new XpoNorth banner.
The new name reflects the industry convention slant that the festival has taken on since its establishment in Aberdeen in the early part of the 21st Century.
Since its relocation to Inverness, which saw funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the two-day event has seen crafts, publishing, screen and broadcast added to a programme which once pretty much concentrated on band showcases and seminars aimed at indie musicians.

The rebranding exercise also gets around any remaining intellectual property problems associated with the original goNorth brand.

The festival will take place on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th June, 2015, in venues across Inverness.
