Perth Music Expo is running a two-day conference “for music lovers, musicians and professionals” on March 14th-15th.
Words and Music will run at Perth Concert Hall, in conjunction with Horsecross Arts and the Traditional Music Forum and feature discussion panels and workshops, as well as live showcases in the evenings.

Among the industry figures on the panels are Admiral Fallow, Stewart Henderson (Chemikal Underground/SMIA), Andy Dunlop (Redbull Records), Paul Downie (Comets and Cartwheels Records), Rod Jones (Idlewild) and Michael Lambert (Born To Be Wide and music management company A Modern Way)

Evening showcase gigs at The Twa Tams, The Green Room and Greyfriars Bar are open to all and include sets by Fatherson, We Came From Wolves, Fake Major, Rura, Findlay Napier, Alasdair Roberts + more to be announced.
