The Wide Days music convention has announced details of this year’s event, including a keynote interview with pioneering electronic act FiniTribe.

The 2015 incarnation has also moved to a Friday / Saturday setup, on April 10-11, with the conference element on the first day.
The Saturday will include a guided tour, talk, barbecue (very SXSW) and a “low-exertion sports contest”.

Conference topics, mostly under discussion at The Pleasance, will include festival development, recording budgets, an overview of the future of the music business, plus the ‘A&R You Brave Enough?’ session, where musicians risk having their music slaughtered by a panel of ‘industry experts’ (not necessarily the same ones working on T Break).

The traditional free showcase programme will take place on Friday 10th – at The Pleasance Theatre from 19.00-21.30 it’s C Duncan & Kathryn Joseph (Tickets)
And at The Electric Circus – 21.00-03.00 – Ded Rabbit & Tijuana Bibles (Tickets)
