Singer/actress Cora Bissett and playwright David Greig are staging a multimedia project, Whatever Gets You Through The Night, at the Arches in Glasgow.

The event, which runs from 26-29 June, features specially commissioned new words and music by bands, singer-songwriters, poets, playwrights and novelists from across Scotland, including: Errors, Rachel Sermanni, Withered Hand, Annie Griffin, Wounded Knee, Meursault, David Greig, RM Hubbert, Alan Spence, Ricky Ross, Alan Bissett, Conquering Animal Sound, Emma Pollock, Kirstin Innes, Swimmer One, Bigg Taj, Stef Smith, Isabel Wright, Eugene Kelly, Douglas Maxwell, Talkingmakesnosense, and David Ireland.

Whatever Gets You Through The Night will include a live show at the Arches, an album, a collection of writing, and a film by Daniel Warren and Kim Beveridge, who previously worked with Cora Bissett on her award-winning show Roadkill. Bissett and David Greig also worked together, with ballboy’s Gordon Macintyre, on play Midsummer
