The Vinyl Factory and Independent Label Market have announced their first ever Glasgow event, which will bring a variety of Scottish record labels, shops and acts to set up stall in the Barras.
It follows up an event in London this summer as well as previous markets in Toronto and Los Angeles as well as several separate Scottish-devised markets at Platform in Glasgow and Edinburgh’s Summerhall.
Already confirmed are a variety of labels and shops including Numbers, Optimo, Rubadub, Chemikal Underground, Lucky Me, Song ByToad, Creeping Bent, Eletric Honey, Soma, Rock Action and Gerry Loves.
It takes place on Saturday 12th October appropriately at the Barras Art & Design Centre, the Glasgow market will also feature live sets from among others Belle and Sebastian and Edwyn Collins, plus live DJ sets from Numbers and Optimo’s JD Twitch.
