Scottish singer Tam White has died in Edinburgh, aged 67.
Although known best as a blues singer, his career saw White work with beat groups in the 1960s, including with The Buzz, who recorded a single with Joe Meek.
He was also an actor, appearing in Braveheart, Taggart, Rebus, and Eastenders.
But perhaps Tam White will be best remembered for providing the vocals for Robbie Coltrane to mime to as Big Jazza McGlone in John Byrne’s award-winning television series Tutti Frutti in 1987.
