Stuart Braithwaite, Josie Long and Hollie McNish are among the big names who will appear in Kirkcaldy as part of James Yorkston‘s Tae Sup Wi’ A Fifer autumn season
The former Fence Collective stalwart, responsible for programming the multi-genre club nights at the town’s Adam Smith Theatre, is continuing the success of the 2019 lineups which have already seen Super Furry Animals’ Gruff Rhys, plus a homecoming show from Horse McDonald.
The October show, on Friday 25th, features a rare solo guitar set from Mogwai frontman Stuart Braithwaite plus the one-woman experimental electronic musician Bell Lungs and guitarist Gwenifer Raymond.
Then, the Saturday 16th November lineup includes BBC Folk Award nominees Ye Vagabonds, plus previous six-time winner Nancy Kerr, who teams up with Luke Daniels. And heading up the night is poet and writer Hollie McNish.
Finally for 2019, on Saturday 14th December, SAY Award shortlisted singer and harpist Rachel Newton joins Turkish folk musician Özgür Baba, and comedian Josie Long.
