The secrets of live success will be unveiled, hopefully, at a two-day seminar in Edinburgh on the weekend of August 11-12.
Stagetime, a conference and networking event aimed at bands, musicians and soloists, promises input from some of the most knowledgeable experts in the field of gigging from across the industry who will offfer advice via panels, workshops and conversation set-pieces.
Among those on hand to advise are Dave Corbett of DF Concerts, John Paul Mason from Edinburgh venue The Electric Circus, the CMU’s Chris Cooke, Duncan McCrone of the PRS, Chris Dyer from digital service Zimbalam UK, the MMF’s John Webster, Scottish Musician Union’s rep Jen Hunter, and Ben Soep who is Washington Irving’s manager.
The weekend costs £25, more details are available at www.stagetimeconf.com.
