Eight Scottish acts regarded by ‘industry experts’ as ‘hot tips’ get the chance to demonstrate what all the fuss is about as they play two Showcasing Scotland concerts at The Great Escape 2017.
Be Charlotte, Emme Woods, Saint PHNX, Shogun, Spinning Coin, TeenCanteen, The LaFontaines and The Van T’s are on the bill at what is regarded as one of the world’s most important industry events which attracts over 3,500 attracts key industry figures on the hunt for fresh meat; sorry, The Next Big Thing.
Creative Scotland will also join with Edinburgh music social organisers Born to be Wide to host an international networking reception, which will allow Scotland’s music industry and musicians to meet with invited international guests from all areas of the music industry.
The Showcasing Scotland concerts, hosted by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway, will take place on Thursday 18 May and Friday 19 May at Brighthelm, Brighton:
