Reggae legends The Wailers and Canadian songwriter James Grant head up this year’s Doune the Rabbit Hole festival lineup.

Punk legends the Skids and Scottish Album of the Year winner Kathryn Joseph are among the local acts who will join the likes of Battles, Lee Scratch Perry, Shonen Knife, Beak> and John Cooper Clarke at Cardross Estate from July 19 – 21.

With the festival celebrating its 10th anniversary, it seems that the organisers have pulled out all the stops in a week when other events have come under fire for their disappointing rosters.

Other international acts journeying to Scotland in July include Belfast instrumental rockers And So I Watch You From Afar, Japanese post rock combo Mono and Swiss folk-popers Serafyn, who will be joined on the three day bill by the likes of Free Love, Bombskare, Fat Suit, Paws and Broken Chanter, while there will be famous name DJ sets in the form of Simian Mobile Disco, and snooker star Steve Davis will again bring his Krautrock-tinged decks to Stirlingshire. Davis will also be at the Blue Arrow club, Glasgow on Saturday 23rd February.

There are more acts still to be announced, with early tickets already available at dounetherabbithole.co.uk
