Scotland could soon have its own music ‘hall of fame’. The development, notionally based in Glasgow, could be Scotway House, the former planning office of the Clyde Port Authority and close to the Transport Museum. Former Beat106 DJ and STV presenter Ewan MacLeod has worked on the £6 million proposal for the Scottish Rock’n’Roll Museum / Hall of Fame for two years, and a £50,000 feasibility study should be complete by next month. If the venue gets the go-ahead it would be perfectly placed for an attraction, sitting alongside the transport museum. Apart from the heritage and nostalgia aspect, the proposal also includes plans to showcase new and upcoming talent.
