The Scottish New Music Awards has announced its lineup for the ceremony which takes place on Sunday September 2nd at Glasgow’s Classic Grand.

In what’s a fairly varied lineup, it sees chaotic social commentators The Plimptons (nominated in last year’s Punk category) rubbing shoulders with rockers Peepshow, Firebrand Superrock, pop act Scosha, electronic band Kamihamiha, Celtic rockers Bags of Rock, recent BBC Introducing guests Werd Wardie Burns Za Mog, and all-girl three-piece The Amorettes.
The event is hosted by popular internet comic The Wee Man.

Nominations are being accepted in the categories listed below – considerably reduced following last year’s massive list – to be received no later than June 30th at Unit 3, LEC Court, Falkirk FK2 9PH.
