The Scottish Alternative Music Awards have announced the winners of their recent vote for the top acts in the country.

At the event last weekend at Glasgow’s Garage, the top acts in the following categories were unveiled, as follows:
Best Rock/Alternative: Culann
Electronic: Plum
Metal/Hardcore: Bear Arms
Acoustic: Little Fire
Hip Hop: GASP
Newcomer: The Holy Ghosts
Live Act: The OK Social Club
