The public vote for the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award is now open. Each of the 20 long-listed albums, selected by a selection of industry nominators, has been available for public streaming over the past three weeks, and now the fully-informed public can vote for their own favourite, which will take its place in the final ten alongside nine others to be selected by the judges.
Among the releases still in the running for the £20,000 prize, to be announced on Thursday, June 19th, are long-players from 2013 by Adam Stafford, The Pastels, RM Hubbert and Rick Redbeard – all of which featured in Jockrock’s top 5 for last year. (Not that we’re trying to sway you, goodness me no…)
Cast your vote at www.sayaward.com/the-albums – before May 28th.
