A new book, charting Scottish alternative music in Scotland leading up to the referendum, has been published.
Written by Andy Reilly – who has among other publications written for is this music? – ‘Rock ‘n’ Roar‘ includes reviews, interviews and insights on Scotland and its sounds up to and specifically around 2014.

Andy has written two books previously, ‘Glasgow Underground & Nicotine’, and ‘Oasis – Here We Are But There We Were’, both available on Kindle. However, ‘Rock ‘n’ Roar’ is also available in good old-fashioned 452-page paperback.

The launch for the publication takes place in The Basement Bar of The Iron Horse on Glasgow’s West Nile Street and is free entry. Keeping with the musical theme, there will be live sets from Graeme Black (from The State Broadcasters) and Dumb Terminals (a Glasgow musician called Kenny Lavelle).
