Nostalgia reigns with the announcement of the second Rewind Scotland festival, which takes place at Scone Palace on the weekend of Friday 20th July – Sunday 22nd July.
With the strapline “The 80s Festival” the lineup will come as no surprise. The Average White Band (with original members Alan Gorrie and Onnie McIntyre) play on the Saturday, alongside headliners Ali Campbell’s UB40.
Five Star, Go West, Sinitta, Chesney Hawkes, Katrina (ex-Katrina and the Waves), Limahl and Right Said Fred are also on the bill, and there’s local interest in the shape of Jimmy Somerville, Midge Ure, and Les McKeown’s Legendary Bay City Rollers.

Saturday also contains Scots legends (and we use the term advisedly) in Altered Images, the rest of that bill reading: Holly Johnson, Village People, Squeeze, Lightning Seeds, Marc Almond, ABC, Roland Gift, The Straits, Wang Chung, John Parr, and The Christians.
