Glasgow’s Green Door Analogue Recording Studioare looking for bands to take part in their demo development slots over the next five months.
The free sessions – sponsored by Creative Scotland Youth Music Initiative
and Emu Bands – are open to unsigned bands and musicians aged 16-25 who haven’t had the opportunity to record in a professional studio before.
Each band will get five days in the Green Door Studio to rehearse,
record and mix a 4-5 song EP which will then get full digital distribution (to
iTunes, emusic etc) through Emu Bands. They also get a 4-hour recording skills
workshop at the start of their session.

The studio has recently recorded albums from Sons & Daughters, 1990s, Jacob Yates & The Pearly Gate Lock Pickers and She’s Hit.
