The Proclaimers, Billy Ocean, Heaven 17 and Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5 are among the acts confirmed to play at Linlithgow’s Party at the Palace festival.

The two-day event, in the shadow (pretty much) of the iconic former residence of Mary, Queen of Scots, takes place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August.

Sponsored by McEwan’s, the event has expanded to two stages allowing for more local and upcoming acts, as well as a bill featuring the likes of The Fratellis, Andy Bell out of Erasure, The Farm and Big Country.
Also featured are Declan Welsh and Ashton Lane, as well as local bands Apache Darling and The Begbies, who both featured in last year’s competition to win a place on the min stage, which Apache Darling won. Plus, tribute acts in the shape of Dirty Harry and the Bootleg Beatles are also listed, making for an eclectic lineup.
