Author Rodge Glass, mainman in Burnt Island – who is soon to leave Scotland to take up a new job down south – hosts a fundraiser for the Alliance for Middle East Peace on August 29th.

Musicians on the bill include Beerjacket, Emma Pollock, Adam Stafford, Rick Redbeard, and Paul Carlin as well as Rodge’s fellow writers Alasdair Gray, Ewan Morrison, Kirstin Innes, Allan Wilson and Alan Bissett.

The night’s entitled (What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peacenik, Love and Understanding? and is at Glasgow’s Old Hairdressers.
