The Scotsman has announced that its Radar Prize for 2011 is open for entries.
The inaugural vote was won by French Wives in 2010, and the simple premise is again that that the writers of the blog pick their favourite act, based on an mp3 of their music.
Thus, bands can enter via the Radar section of the Scotsman’s website, and put themselves forward for a full-day recording session at Chem 19, a complete video session courtesy of Edinburgh’s Swanfield Studios and Boshpit Productions. a global distribution package from Tunefire, a one-year pro account for SoundCloud, an interview feature in both The Scotsman and Radar, and a live photo shoot from Radar contributor Euan Robertson.
