Doune The Rabbit Hole has announced the first headliners for what is its fourth incarnation of the annual central Scottish festival.

The three-day event takes place *somewhere* in Central Scotland on the weekend of 22nd-25th August, following previous tenures at Duncarron Fort and Doune Castle.

Full adult weekend camping tickets are available now for £68, children 12-16 tickets £48, with under 12s going free. The environmentally-minded organsers are encouraging car sharing with reduced rates for full vehicles – here’s the details and purchasing info.

The three day event includes a smattering of local favourites like Meursault, Rachel Sermanni, Randolph’s Leap and Jo Mango, alongside some highly attractive visiting attractions in seminal (not a word we use lightly) indie veterans The Monochrome Set, and former Soft Boy and general psychedelic-shirted songwriter Robyn Hitchcock.

The lineup, so far, is:
Friday Aug 23 – The John Langan Band, Haight Ashbury, Galoshins, Meursault
Saturday Aug 24 – Bombskare, The Monochrome Set, Robyn Hitchcock, Rozi Plain, Mother Ganga
Sunday Aug 25 – Horndog Brass Band, Jo Mango, Randolph’s Leap, Bo Ningen and Rachel Sermanni
