Fife town Kirkcaldy, which has rather lacked a regular gig venue since The Path Tavern (remember that, kids?) closed its doors.
However, The Candlerooms/McSquinty’s is set to offer regular music across many genres, including a Thursday indie night and fortnightly Saturdays hosted by Edinburgh legendary club night EVOL.

Indie night Circus launches on April 8th with Root System, The Fire And I, Rioteers and Lost Generation.
The big launch night os on Friday 9th with a salsa-techno-dub-house theme (we’re told). Saturdays split (on alternate weeks) Evol with Keiron Melotte DJ ing, and Hacienda-style electro and house. A live set from Manchester electrogroovers Silverclub is slated for the 10th.
