A host of local and international talent are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh’s Summerhall venue during August.

Under the Nothing Ever Happens Here banner and produced in conjunction with promoter 432, acts taking part in the three-week event include Welsh wizards Mclusky, Danish soundscapers Efterklang, and multi-national surf-loungers Los Bitchos, as well as Mercury nominee Cate Le Bon and 6music favourite Tune-Yards.

There are plenty of Scottish-based artists on the bill, with Sacred Paws, Honeyblood, Withered Hand, and SAY Award-winner Auntie Flo among the headliners, while a ‘Start To End’ night will recreate the Cocteau Twins‘ classic album ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’.

And James Yorkston will get together live with the Swedish-based Second Hand Orchestra to perform tracks from their collaborative album ‘The Wide, Wide River’.
