Colin MacIntyre is to headline the fifth annual Sounds in the Grounds festival, in Stornoway’s Lews Castle, which takes place on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st May

The volunteer-run event hosts 25 acts over two days on three stages, and apart from the former Mull Historical Society man, other acts on the Friday night, which is sponsored by Scotland’s Islands, are Amber Wilson from Orkney, Dot JR from Lewis, Harris rockers HVR and Promise to No-one, singer/songwriter Mata MacDonald, who is from Uist, The Benbecula Boys from, er, Benbecula and The Dead Man’s Waltz from Skye.

The Saturday lineup has Kassidy headlining, plus Zoey Van Goey, Iglue, Murderers of Love, and, as they say, many more.
