Glasgow’s South Side is set to have its own music and arts venue – funding permitting. So, 45 A-Side Records are to launch ‘The Glad Café Album’ on October 4th, with a lunch night in Stereo four days before, on September 30th.

The gig will feature live sets from Barn Owl, Conquering Animal Sound, Song Of Return and Dam Mantle, plus a DJ set from Detour-Scotland. The 13-track compilation of bands from the central belt of Scotland also includes the likes of Olympic Swimmers, The Japanese War Effort, Yahweh, Debutant , Admiral Fallow , The Seventeenth Century, and The Moth And The Mirror.

The Glad Café will host a 50 cover restaurant/café and a 200
