A host of Scottish pop legends have been announced for the SSE Scottish Music Awards – formerly the Tartan Clefs – which take place for the benefit of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins Scotland on Saturday 2nd December.
Hipsway and The Waterboys will perform at the ceremony at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow, as well as Emeli Sandé, Nina Nesbitt, The Temperance Movement, Tom Walker and Lewis Capaldi.
The award nominations include; Summer Nights, for Glasgow UNESCO City of Music Best Live Event, Texas for the Ticketmaster Tourmaster Award, and Horse McDonald, for the Reo Stakis-sponsored Music Ambassador Award..
The ceremony has been Nordoff Robbins Scotland’s biggest fundraiser since 1996 and funds raised on the night are a vital part of the charity’s ability to provide music therapy to over 450 vulnerable children and adults across the country every week.
