A new music-oriented cafe bar has opened in Glasgow. Heavenly – a vegan establishment – is run by the people behind Bubblegum Records. At 185 Hope Street, Glasgow and open from 12-12 7 days a week, it is independent from any chain, collaboration or brewery. Live acts are planned for the future, including Glasgow Popfest in November. For now, the music policy is also independent including the likes of X-Ray Spex, Jesus and Mary Chain, The Shangri-las, Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, Tindersticks, Mudhoney, Helen Love etc. More at the website.
