Glasgow’s recently-established Hard Rock Cafe has announced an array of familiar names to play at its Scottish Music Weekend.

KT Tunstall, Kassidy, We Were Promised Jetpacks and The Fratellis are to perform live on the weekend of Friday 31 January – Sunday 2 February.

KT Tunstall‘s set will be broadcast on Radio Clyde 1’s morning show from 10am, on the Friday, with We Were Promised Jetpacks playing a set in the evening.

On the Saturday, there are musical guitar masterclasses from Andy McKenzie and Jamie Keenan from The La Fontaines) and that’s followed by free-entry sets from 2:30pm by The River 68’s, The Recovery!, Bear Arms and The Holy Ghosts. And Kassidy will perform in the evening to competition winners who can sign up at the venue’s Facebook page.

Sunday will see journo Billy Sloan and the guys from Emubands presenting a masterclass in how to get ahead in the music industry, and in the evening there’s the traditional Hard Rock “guitar smash” at 7:30pm, before a set from The Fratellis.
