Badly Drawn Boy, Hipsway and Jerry Sadowitz are part of an eclectic lineup for a 10-day mini-festival taking place in North Berwick in early August.
Fringe By The Sea, now in its 11th year, will present 168 events over ten days from 3rd-12th August.
Apart from Meditation for Kids and guided walks up Berwick Law, there is a busy programme of music, comedy and arts with Badly Drawn Boy headlining alongside Mica Paris (who sings the songs of Ella Fitzgerald) and Jerry Sadowitz.
Also on the bill are Hipsway, The Manfreds (with both Paul Jones and Mike d’Abo), The Sugarhill Gang and The Furious Five, Withered Hand, and Geno Washington.
There are also afternoon family friendly gigs from Bombskare and the Major Minor Music Club (Broken Records), tribute acts Ultimate Bowie and London Calling and a DJ set by Terry Hall.
A folk-oriented strand includes shows by Moishe’s Bagel, Rachel Newton, Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham, Dean Owens And The Celtabilly Allstars, and Shooglenifty, while there’s jazz with Philip Contini and the Be Happy Band, an acoustic gig from top saxophonist Tommy Smith, and Hamish McGregor with ‘Ball, Barber and Bilk’.
