Fran Healy, lead singer and main songwriter of rock band Travis, is set to release his debut solo album in October. Entitled Wreckorder, some sort of theme emerges as it will be on his own ‘wreckordLABEL’, er, label (though via ADA Global).
The 10 tracks were recorded in Berlin, New York and Vermont, and include single ‘Buttercups’, a duet with Neko Case entitled ‘Sing Me To Sleep’, and ‘As It Comes’ which features Paul “Sir” McCartney on bass (Healy has reportedly repaid the former Wings mainman by turning vegetarian.)
