Aidan Moffat and RM Hubbert, Big Country, The Beat, Atari Teenage Riot and We Were Promised Jetpacks are among the acts announced for this year’s Doune the Rabbit Hole festival.

The event, which takes place in July (13-15) as opposed to its traditional August slot, is in its now-traditional home at 13-15 July at Cardross Estate near Lake of Menteith, Stirling.

Bombskare, This is the Kit and Dreadzone are among the acts featured in Friday’s evening-only lineup.

Taking pride of place on Saturday’s bill are electronica pioneers The Orb, with The Beat (the Ranking Roger version), Dawnings, The Strange Blue Dreams, BooHooHoo and former Bhundu Boy Rise Kagona also on an eclectic list.

On Sunday, Aidan and Hubby sit alongside We Were Promised Jetpacks, back after an extended hiatus, while other big names include Big Country, Levellers, Atari Teenage Riot, Broken Records, Carla J Easton, and The Cosmic Dead.
