Fence Records are to hold their annual Hallowe’en bash on Sunday October 31st (naturally) in three Glasgow venues. The man event takes pace at Stereo, on Renfield Lane, with the across-the-street Old Hairdresser, and the (still currently under refurbishment) upstairs bit of The Old Hairdresser also in use. An all-day event running from 2pm until 2am, it features King Creosote, James Yorkston, Silver Columns, James Yuill , Lord Cut Glass, Alasdair Roberts, John MacLean (DJ), , Jo Mango, Vladimir Lad, Randolph’s Leap, John B McKenna, Jonnie Common,Gummi Bako , Pictish Trail, Emily Scott, Y’all Is Fantasy Island’s Adam Stafford,andand Seamus Fogarty.
And, Seafield Road (the solo project of Swimmer One’s Andrew Eaton.)

There’s also the debut screening of the Fence Home Game Film, Separado! (a film by Super Furry Animal’s front man Gruff Rhys), a special performance of King Creosote’s ‘My Nth Bit Of Strange In Umpteen Years’, and a screening of The Shutdown, Alan Bissett and Adam Stafford’s award-winning documentary short.
Tickets are £25, and perhaps crucially, advance ticket purchasers get first dibs on briefs for next year’s Homegame Festival.
