The Doune the Rabbit Hole festival has announced its postponement until 2021.

Organisers have apologised for the time taken to confirm the cancelation of this year’s event – scheduled to take place from July 17th – 19th – saying: “We kept our hopes up for as long as possible”.

However, the team behind the Cardross Estate-based event, which has enjoyed a 10-year run, have worked to confirm many of the 2020 headliners for the rescheduled version, now set to take place from 15th – 18th July 2021.

More than 70 acts are already confirmed to take part including Belle and Sebastian, John Cale, The Bluebells and The Pastels, who have been re-booked from this year.

Also on the 2021 bill are Girl Ray, Cut Capers, Rachel Sermanni, Elephant Sessions, Snapped Ankles, Tidelines, Stanley Odd, Awkward Family Portraits, Mickey 9s, Esperanza, The Vegan Leather, Fauves, Check Masses, James Brown Is Annie, The Twistettes, Strange Blue Dreams and More From Jim, with many more still to be confirmed.

All tickets including day tickets will automatically be valid for the new dates in 2021 (so next year’s tickets will be at this year’s prices), and weekend tickets will allow festival-goers one extra day at no added cost. And as kids 12 and under were admitted for free in 2020, this age limit will become under-13 in 2021. Plus, rolling over tickets will entitle holders into a draw to win one of 10 tickets for life.
